Nichole Proffitt

Nichole Proffitt has been practicing and studying mindfulness and meditation since 2000 and has been teaching mindfulness in various capacities since 2006. In addition to teaching Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Nichole also provides mindfulness-based consultation, program development and mindfulness instruction at various institutions and organizations throughout the Bay Area, as well as one-on-one mindfulness instruction and coaching for adults.

She has completed trainings in counseling and mindfulness-based leadership development, and graduated from the UCLA Mindful Awareness Research Center/Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior as a Certified Mindfulness Facilitator.
