Jane Baraz, MA

Instructor, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction

Jane Baraz, M.A. has been meditating since 1976. She completed professional training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction with Drs. Jon Kabat-Zinn and Bob Stahl and has also been trained in Mindful Self-Compassion by Drs. Chris Germer and Kristin Neff. She teaches Awakening Joy workshops with her husband, James Baraz, in the United States, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. She is a founding board member of Spirit Rock Meditation Center. Jane enjoys bringing a friendly, gentle attitude to meditation practices and infuses her teaching with guidance for bringing more self-compassion into our lives.
