Laughter Yoga Instructor

Teresa Corrigan teaches Laughter Yoga and Laughter Yoga and Meditation classes at the Osher Center. She is a registered nurse with more than 25 years of healthcare experience, a board-certified Nurse Coach, and a nationally-certified biofeedback practitioner and Laughter Yoga teacher.

She has been teaching stress management and breathing therapies since 1988 in both hospital and outpatient settings, and has taught Laughter Yoga since 2009.  She is a life-long student of mindfulness, completing the professional Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) training in 1990 with Jon Kabat-Zinn and others. She is a graduate of Dr. Andrew Weil’s Integrative Health and Lifestyle Program at the University of Arizona’s Center for Integrative Medicine as well as the Center for Mind-Body Medicine’s professional training.

Teresa specializes in Laughter Yoga, stress management, cardiac health maintenance, guided imagery, and meditation. She is a certified Laughter Yoga teacher through Laughter Yoga University and the World Laughter Tour. She provides classes and training for healthcare professionals and others to become Laughter Yoga leaders.  More information may be found on her website.
