Bonnie O’Brien Jonsson, MS, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) instructor at the Osher Center, has been a practitioner of mindfulness meditation since 1993. She completed professional training in MBSR with Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn in 1996, and has practiced dedicated study through Spirit Rock Meditation Center. She is also a certified Qi Gong instructor.

Bonnie has a master’s degree in health education and worked as a program director and hospital clinician for 16 years before she started her business providing continuing education seminars for healthcare professionals. She also led workshops in mindful living and dying for 15 years. She has taught Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction at Google and Boalt Law, and she teaches meditation in prisons and other venues in the Bay Area. Bonnie brings a sense of joy and kindness into her teaching.
