Sanjay Reddy, MD, FACP
Integrative Medicine Physician
Sanjay Reddy, MD, FACP, is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at UCSF. Dr. Reddy provides Internal Medicine and Acupuncture consultations at the Osher Center, combining the fields to provide a comprehensive evaluation of each person. He is a hospitalist in the Division of Hospital Medicine and the Medical Director for the Congestive Heart Failure, Bone Marrow Transplant and Nighttime Hospitalist services.
Dr. Reddy is board certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, in Acupuncture by the American Academy of Medical Acupuncture, and will complete the Fellowship Program in Integrative Medicine from the University of Arizona in 2016. He is interested in the use of acupuncture with western medicine both in the clinic and hospital settings to provide the best care possible.
Prior to coming to UCSF, Dr. Reddy served as a Site Director and Associate Program Director for the UC Irvine Internal Medicine Residency. He remains involved with the Internal Medicine residency at UCSF and actively continues to teach. He is also the multimedia editor for the world’s best selling internal medicine textbook, Current Medical Diagnosis and Treatment, and its associated website, AccessMedicine.com.
