Rachel Lanzerotti, MSW, RYT500
Rachel Lanzerotti, MSW, RYT500 is a certified yoga instructor of forms that include: Hatha Yoga, Mindful Yoga, Essential Low Back Yoga, Restorative Yoga, and Yin/Yang approaches, and she has trained in MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction), and iRest® Level I yoga nidra.
Rachel has taught yoga with several research studies at UCSF’s Osher Center for Integrative Medicine including: Yoga for Chronic Low Back Pain (YoMA Study), Restorative Yoga for the Metabolic Syndrome (PRYSMS Study), and Integrative Approaches to Cancer Survivorship (IACS Study), as well as mindful breathing with Project Inspire.
A graduate of Spirit Rock’s Mindfulness Yoga and Meditation Training Program and The Yoga Loft’s Teacher Training Program, Rachel also has specialized training in the Essential Low Back Program (lower back pain relief and strengthening exercises) and Advanced Relax & Renew® (restorative yoga). She holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) from San Francisco State University and a bachelor’s degree in Human Biology and Feminist Studies from Stanford University.
