Dionne Detraz, RD, CSO

Dionne Detraz is a Registered Dietitian at the UCSF Osher Center for Integrative Medicine. She provides nutritional assessment and dietary counseling for patients of the Osher Center. With training in both medical nutrition therapy and integrative nutrition, she is able to provide individualized coaching to patients with a variety of health conditions and goals.
Dionne’s experience includes over ten years working in Health Education, Wellness and Dietetics at Kaiser Permanente. She studied Physiology, Dietetics and Holistic Health at San Francisco State University. She completed her Dietetic Internship at the University of Houston, with additional training at such notable institutions as MD Anderson Cancer Center, The University of Texas Medical Center, and Methodist Hospital. She has completed certifications in holistic nutrition from Bauman College and traditional western herbal therapies from the Living Awareness Institute. Most recently, Dionne received her Board Certification as a Specialist in Oncology Nutrition.
