Bernard and Barbro Osher match gifts to the UCSF Osher Center Endowment Campaign
Creating the Future of Integrative Medicine
The UCSF Osher Center’s Endowment Campaign was conceived to enable the Osher Center to tackle three of the greatest challenges facing the field of medicine:
- how to best leverage the benefits of technological innovation without forgoing personalized, compassionate care;
- empowering patients to take control of their own health and well being; and
- transforming the way healthcare is practiced.
Friends of the Osher Center now have an unprecedented opportunity to double the impact of their gift and to ensure the continued growth and enrichment of the Center by supporting its $25 million endowment campaign.
In existence since 1997, the UCSF Osher Center for Integrative Medicine has become a premier integrative health resource for the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. The first program of its kind to offer fully developed programs in research, education and clinical care, the Osher Center is meeting the needs of patients who seek a healing-oriented approach to healthcare.
In January 2011, the center opened its new facility at 1545 Divisadero St., San Francisco, across from the UCSF Mount Zion campus. The new Osher Center facility brings together all of the center’s programs and creates a healing environment with natural light, fresh air, and calm areas for meditation and reflection.
Help us reach our goal! Meaningful gifts of every size are welcome and will help further the goals of bringing integrative care to our community and beyond. The Endowment will fund programs and innovations at the center in perpetuity.
