Transfer and Refund Policy

To drop or transfer to another class, an e-mail sent to classes@ocim.ucsf.edu is required. Please see below for specific payment and refund policies outlined per class.

Please note:

  • For all transfers, you may only transfer to the same class type (i.e Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction to Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction.)
  • For all refunds, we require a 48-hour notice prior to the start of the class.


Tai Chi, Yoga & Mind in Labor

A refund or credit minus a $15 cancellation fee (per person) will be given when requested a minimum of 48 hours before the first class. If a refund is requested less than 48 hours before the first class, the cancellation fee will increase to $25.  No refund will be granted after the first class.

 



Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)

Request Prior to Interview
A refund minus a $25 processing fee will be given when requested by e-mail a minimum of 48 hours prior to the interview. If a refund is requested less than 48 hours prior to the interview, the cancellation fee will increase to $50.

Request Prior to First Class
A refund minus a $50 processing fee will be given after the interview when requested by e-mail a minimum of 48 hours before the first class. If a refund is requested less than 48 hours prior to the first class, the cancellation fee will increase to $100.

Request Prior to Second Class
A refund minus a $100 processing fee will be given when requested by e-mail a minimum of 48 hours before the second class. If a refund is requested less than 48 hours prior to the second class, the cancellation fee will increase to $150.

Request Prior to Third Class
A refund minus $150 will be given when requested by e-mail a minimum of 48 hours before the third class. No refund will be given less than 48 hours prior to the third class, and no refund will be given after the third class.

 



Mindfulness-Based Childbirth and Parenting (MBCP)

Request Prior to First Class
A refund minus a $25 processing fee per single/couple will be given when requested by e-mail a minimum of 48 hours prior to the first class. If a refund is requested less than 48 hours prior to the first class, the cancellation fee will increase to $75.

Request Prior to the Second Class
A refund minus a $75 processing fee per single/couple will be given when requested by e-mail a minimum of 48 hours before the second class. If refund is requested less than 48 hours prior to the second class, the cancellation fee will increase to $125.

Request Prior to Third Class
A refund minus a $150 processing fee per single/couple will be given when requested by e-mail a minimum if 48 hours before the third class. No refund will be given less than 48 hours before the third class, and no refunds will be given after the third class.
