Tai Chi and Yoga
Our movement classes are open to adults of all ages and ability levels.
There has been a large amount of research on the health benefits of Tai Chi Chuan—much of it directed at improving balance, preventing falls and strengthening the immune system: benefits important to us as we age. Through our classes, the fundamentals of a solid Tai Chi Chuan practice are emphasized to create a life long practice that can be done anywhere and anytime. We have Tai Chi classes for beginners, advanced, and for people age 50 and over.
In both of our yoga classes, we aim to build a strong foundation for newcomers and to deepen the awareness and skill of the experienced practitioner. Choices will be given for a range of possibilities so that each person can express each practice in a way that suits their unique physical circumstances. Anyone interested in deeper well-being, including those new to yoga or facing health challenges, is welcome.
