Miria Toveg, MS, LAc Acupuncturist

Miria M. Toveg, MS, LAc, has practiced Traditional Chinese Medicine for over 17 years, specializing in acupuncture treatments and counseling for herbs and vitamins. She is a co-founder of The Lotus Center, a holistic health clinic in San Francisco.

Miria has special expertise in post-traumatic stress disorder, pain management, stress reduction, and back injury. In particular, she has over 25 years of experience in women’s health, including fertility, pregnancy and the birthing process, menopause, and women’s cancer care.

Miria believes in empowering people with a variety of options to make the best possible decisions for a holistic approach to their own health care.

Miria received her Masters Degree in Oriental Medicine from the San Francisco College of Acupuncture. In addition to treating patients at the UCSF Osher Center, Miria practices at The Lotus Center and at Charlotte Maxwell Complementary Clinic in Oakland, CA.
