Kristie Dahlia Home, E-RYT 500

Yoga Instructor

Kristie Dahlia Home has been practicing yoga for nearly 20 years and teaching since 1995.  She has taught yoga for UCSF’s Cancer Resource Center, the UCSF School of Nursing, Dr. Dean Ornish’s Preventive Medicine Research Institute, the Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired, and the Institute for Health and Healing. At the Osher Center, Kristie participates in research into the therapeutic benefits of yoga while teaching public classes and individual sessions.

Her training ranges from Adaptive Yoga for People with Cancer, and Therapeutic Yoga for People with Multiple Sclerosis to contemplative Integral Yoga, vigorous Ashtanga Yoga and prenatal yoga. Kristie serves on the Teacher Training Faculty of the Integral Yoga Institute, and is registered with the Yoga Alliance. Her book, "Yoga, Natural Fitness for Body and Spirit", has been translated into several languages.



An individually tailored yoga practice expands the capacities of body, heart, and mind, opening space for healing and lifelong joy.

Kristie’s yoga is influenced by her work as a poet, Reiki Master, and practitioner of Thai Yoga Massage. She specializes in individualizing practice to suit each person’s unique needs, bringing the joy of deeper wellbeing to people in all physical circumstances.
