Kevin Barrows, MD is an Associate Clinical Professor at UCSF and
a graduate of the UCSF School of Medicine. Dr. Barrows' primary interest is mind-body medicine, with a special
focus on the application of mindfulness practice in health care
settings. He has been practicing mindfulness since 1991 and is the
founding Director of Mindfulness Programs at the Osher Center for
Integrative Medicine.
He completed his family
practice residency and board certification in 1996 and received
board certification through the American Board of Holistic Medicine
in 2004. He has completed a two-year fellowship in integrative medicine
through the Program in Integrative Medicine at the University of
Arizona.
Dr. Barrows enjoys working with adults and children. In his integrative medicine practice, he cares for the full range of health conditions.
