The Osher Center for Integrative Medicine is comprised of research, education and clinical services programs of the School of Medicine. The missions of the Osher Center are to scientifically research the effectiveness and value of integrative medicine; to bring to the patient approaches of proven value; to bring to students and practitioners in the health professions a new paradigm of relationship-centered medicine; and to disseminate information on the efficacy of integrative medicine to the public and the medical community.
UCSF Osher Center for Integrative Medicine (OCIM) Faculty Clinician Positions
Widely acknowledged as a leader in the field, the UCSF Osher Center for Integrative Medicine seeks dedicated physicians interested in joining our extraordinarily talented team as faculty members in full-time clinical positions. Housed within a world renowned health science institution, the UCSF Osher Center is a founding member of the Consortium of Academic Health Centers for Integrative Medicine as well as the Bravewell Collaborative, and has been on the forefront of advancing patient care with Integrative Medicine services since its inception in 1997.
To qualify for these full-time clinical positions, candidates must have formal training in integrative medicine (fellowship in integrative medicine, board certification in integrative medicine, formal training in specific modality, or the equivalent) as well as be board certified in family medicine, internal medicine, oncology, or physical medicine and rehabilitation. Candidates must have a medical license to practice in the State of California by the hire start date. Preferred candidates will also have a minimum of 200 hours of post-clinical training in the clinical practice of consultative integrative medicine and have experience in medical education, including supervising and mentoring students and residents.
Appointments will be in the HS Clinical Professor or Professor of Clinical X faculty series in the clinical department of the candidate’s board certified specialty. Salary and faculty rank will be commensurate with training and experience.
