Naomi Lam, MD is an Assistant Clinical Professor at UCSF and has had a longstanding interest in integrative medicine and Eastern healing practices. She graduated from Tufts University School of Medicine, completed a psychiatry residency at UCSF, and recently received her certification in medical acupuncture. Currently, Dr. Lam is participating in the distant-learning fellowship Program in Integrative Medicine from the University of Arizona.
Dr. Lam’s practice is guided by an openness toward Eastern healing practices and by the patient's individual sense of his or her own spirituality. Drawing upon her training in transpersonal psychology and medical acupuncture, she creates a safe place for patients to explore their psychological issues and find a greater sense of peace and well being.
