On May 16, 2014, “Mindful Birthing: Training the Mind, Body, and Heart for Childbirth and Beyond” by Nancy Bardacke, CNM, MA, was awarded the “Best Book of the Year” for 2014 by the American College of Nurse-Midwives at their annual convention in Denver, Colorado. With roots dating to 1929, ACNM is the oldest women’s healthcare organization in the United States.
Mindful Birthing is regularly in the top 100 Pregnancy books on Amazon. It has been translated into Dutch and German, and is currently being translated into French and Turkish. With Mindfulness-Based Childbirth and Parenting instructors now being trained in Israel, Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands, Australia and Hong Kong, as well as the US, we’re sure that Mindful Birthing will continue to be a world traveler!
