Osher Center Participating in UCSF PITCH Program

pitchThe Osher Center will be one of the UCSF departments visited by  a group of 30 San Francisco high school students selected to participate in the 2013 Program for Investigation and Training for Careers in Health (PITCH) program. PITCH is a three-week summer program for public school students who are interested in the healthcare field, most of whom will be the first in their family to attend college.

On Thursday morning, July 11, students will learn about integrative medicine, and hear from our faculty and staff in each of our three divisions: Education (Yvette Coulter), Clinic (Diane Sabin, DC, Marcia Degelman, CMT and Wolf Mehling, MD) and Research (Jennifer Daubenmier, PhD, followed by Cori Bussolari, PsyD talking about our CEDARS research project). We are all looking forward to meeting the students and sharing our work with this important group!
