Tai Chi Chuan

Tai Chi Chuan is an ancient martial art that has been refined into a series of slow rhythmic exercises designed to increase circulation throughout the body, improve balance, and calm the mind. Participants will learn the basic movements of the Yang-style long form. We offer day and evening classes for beginning and continuing students. Each class meets for 10 weekly sessions.

Yoga has been practiced for healing, well-being and spiritual development for thousands of years. Yoga consists of physical postures, breathing practices, meditation, and deep relaxation. These practices encourage deeper clarity, strength, and health for body and mind. Our classes offer a wide range of possibilities to make Yoga accessible for people in all physical or mental circumstances.

Gentle Chair Yoga

Join us for this joyful practice to start your week on the right note! We will use gentle seated and, if appropriate for you, standing poses to increase comfort, strength, and flexibility. Deep relaxation, breathing, and meditation will help to build the skill of relaxation and relieve stress. Chair yoga is appropriate for those who cannot comfortably practice on the floor, or anyone who prefers a very gentle practice.
