Tracy Peng, MD is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at UCSF.

She graduated from the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California and completed a psychiatry residency at California Pacific Medical Center. She is also a graduate of the Zen Hospice Project End-of-Life Counselor Training program.

Dr. Peng has a special interest in using mindfulness approaches in psychotherapy and also herbal and Western medications to treat anxiety and depression. She helps motivated patients make changes in their thought patterns and lifestyle that can improve their mood and overall mental state.

Dr. Peng also specializes in providing spiritually focused psychotherapy to women with cancer. Her broader interests include integrating meditation and other complementary forms of healing into psychiatric practice.
