Naomi Lam, MD

Naomi Lam, MD

Integrative Psychiatrist

"Helping people to recognize, nurture, and channel their inner healing abilities is a core part of what I do in my integrative psychiatry practice."

Naomi Lam, MD is an Assistant Clinical Professor at UCSF and has a deep interest in Eastern healing practices and integrative medicine.

She graduated from Tufts University School of Medicine, completed her psychiatry residency at UCSF, and is certified in medical acupuncture. She is currently a fellow in the Program in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona.

Dr. Lam's practice is guided by an openness toward Eastern medicine and by the patient's individual sense of his or her own spirituality. Drawing upon her training in transpersonal psychology and integrative medicine, she strives to create a safe place in which patients can explore their psychological issues and find a greater sense of peace and wellbeing.
