Dr. Abercrombie is a doctorally prepared nurse practitioner and has specialized in women's health for over 20 years. In addition to being a women's health specialist at the Osher Center, she works in the Pelvic Pain Clinic at the UCSF Women's Health Center, and the women's health center at San Francisco General Hospital.
Dr. Abercrombie received both her Master's Degree, Women's Health Nurse Practitioner and Doctorate in Nursing from the University of California San Francisco. She completed an Associate Fellowship in Integrative Medicine from the Program in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona, Tucson, a program developed by Dr. Andrew Weil for physicians and nurse practitioners.
She has conducted women's health research, written numerous articles for professional journals and lectures nationally on women's health related topics.
Because of Dr. Abercrombie's many years of experience in women's health and her knowledge of integrative medicine, she is able to offer a whole range of options for managing women's health concerns.
